Payment

We have made a conscious decision not to use an online payment service or card payment service. This is because we want to pass on some of our profits to conservation organisations that we support and we also want to offer value for money. If we were to use such services the extra cost would have to be passed onto our customers. We will review this policy periodically. Our current payment options are detailed below:

Scheduled Walks

Pre-booking is essential for these events. We ask that people either pay in advance when they book or pay in cash on the day. For walks organised by Perthshire Wildlife, payment can be taken via paypal on the website. For walks organised by Aquila Ecology, bank details can be provided on booking to make an internet banking payment (Bacs).

Bespoke Walks and Tours, Wildlife Breaks and Birding Holidays

A 50% deposit is required either by cash, cheque or by internet banking (Bacs) to secure all bookings. For bespoke walks and tour the final instalment can be taken on the day by cash or cheque or by internet banking 2 days before the planned walk or tour.

For Wildlife Breaks and Birding holidays, the remaining balance will be required at least 4 weeks prior to the start date of the break or holiday to secure bookings with all third party providers.

Training

Full payment is required at time of booking in either by cash, cheque or internet banking (Bacs).

Talks and Presentations

Price and payment will depend on the organisation or group making the booking. Please contact us to discuss further.

Ecological Surveys

Prices will be provided by way of a tender document and payment terms will be stated in that document. Usual payment terms are via an invoice raised when all works are completed or at agreed intervals for longer term projects.
