We will spend our days driving round the island looking for places to stop and watch wildlife as well as using hides and taking leisurely walks on the RSPB’s Loch Gruinart and Oa Nature Reserves. We will also drop into Machir Bay to take a walk along this stunning white sandy beach and to spot gulls, choughs and eagles. A slight detour to visit one of the many whisky distilleries can be arranged for those who are whisky aficionados, whilst the rest of us look for otters and divers in the neighbouring bay. A day on the neighbouring Isle of Jura for otter spotting will also be included in the itinerary if sailings are available.

We also at pay visits to Finlaggan and Kildalton Cross to learn about local history, where we still have a good chance of spotting eagles, deer, hares and otters.
